Tropics Archiver v0.1!

Tropics Archiver is a free app for PC (Windows) that allows you to archive NHC Sat and IR imagery from the web. It works quietly in the background and archives a feed once every 30 minutes. It has a console style status window that gives you real time information and stats on the progress. The storm or satellite and infared imagery is stored on your hard drive at c:\storms It creates folders for each storm name and downloads the data there while adding time and date stamps to them. Pretty cool huh? :)

I am in no way shape or form affiliated with the national hurricane center or any other meteorological or government type of organization. This was a free lance project by me. It basically does something you could do every 30 minutes for you, until you tell it to stop, so you can do what you want, and still get those images saved. It has your computer do something for you that you really don't feel like doing but would like to do because you see how cool it is.
